Opportunity for Artists - Art of Democracy Exhibit
Registration Deadline has passed, but late sign-up is being accepted. Please send entry form as soon as possible.
Posters must be delivered to APS by Aug. 1
APS is organizing a creative effort with the Art of Democracy.org. This is an open call for artists and designers to create work addressing their perceptions of the state of the American Political scene. Submit 5 or more posters to be exhibited around Atlanta, as part of the national exhibition. Original Prints or digital ok. Entry fee is $5 to be used for local promotion.

Friday, July 18, 2008 - Tricks of the Trade 7pm
Framing, from initial design through hanging the finished piece, will be presented by Andrea Emmons. Skills learned include color choice and materials selection, mounting, frame choices, and various hanging devices. Cost is $10, payable at the door.
September 25-27, 2008 - Print Dialogue Days
OPEN HOUSE at APS Studio - Sept 25th
Print Dialogue Days will be held in Atlanta this year, sponsored by the American Print Alliance and hosted by SCAD Atlanta. There is an open house at APS on Thursday night. Other events, panel discussions, demonstrations and exhibitions at SCAD Atlanta - more details to come
Oct. 1 - Nov. 5, 2008 - APS Members Exhibit
"Multiple Impressions" at Georgia Perimeter College
Reception on Thurs. Oct. 16, 5-7pm
This exhibit is open to all current APS members.

Sunday, May 18, 2008, 3-5pm - Annual Members Meeting
Annual Members Meeting at the studio. A social gathering for members, a time for discussion about the studio and other programming, and a chance to get more involved with APS. An artist talk was given by Athens-based artist, Melissa Harshman.

Corrina Sephora Mensoff's exhibit -On the Surface of the Water- was a series of mixed media sculpture installations, monotypes, drawings and video. Artist talk at 3pm.

APS participated at this expo to present information and resources availalble for public artists.
