•September 7-29, 2007 - Printmakers Paradise Exhibit
A printmaking exhibit in partnership with the Fulton County Arts Council Southwest Arts Center
Reception: September 7, 7pm-9pm
A revealing exhibit of fine art prints and the plates from whence they came. Show includes Ric Washington, Terumi Todd, Derrick Roach, Joe Tsambiras, Marie Weaver, Constance Falconer, Jerome McInnish, Robin Singer, Andrea White, Gina Reynoso, Joey Hannaford, and Jerushia Graham, and the work of printmakers from the Southwest Art Center. Exhibit located at the Southwest Arts Center, 915 New Hope Rd., Atlanta, GA 30331. www.fultonarts.org.

•Sept 22 - Oct 19, 2007 - Elementals Exhibit
An Exhibition of Works on Paper hosted by the SCAD-Atlanta Printmaking Department at Blue Tower Gallery at Metropolitan Warehouses. www.bluetowergallery.com
Reception: September 22, 7pm-midnight
Featuring Cannonball Press of New York, Yee Haw Industries of Knoxville and a comprehensive survey of Georgia Printmakers from around the state. Several APS members are participating.

During the reception at Blue Tower, APS will have an open studio from 8-10pm, so please drop by to visit our facility!


•December 2, 2007 - Holiday Open House 3-5pm
APS open house includes a print sale, studio tour, and demonstrations. Free and open to the public.

•September 9, 2007 - Members Portfolio Exchange
Prints due at the APS studio today.
Theme: TAKING OFF.
The portfolios will be distributed at the Open House on December 2.

Atlanta Printmakers Studio was one of the tour stops for the HOW Design Conference in Atlanta.

•May 20, 2007 - APS Members Meeting
Sunday, May 20 at 3pm
Meeting in the studio to provide an update of APS activities and accomplishments, plus time for questions, suggestions and discussions among members.

•April 2-6, 2007 - Printmaking for Teens, Spring Break
M-F, 9am - 12 noon each day
Organized by Hammonds House Gallery, APS conducted a week-long printmaking workshop for middle school and high school students.

•March 10, 2007 - I can be a Printmaker
Saturday, March 10, 12-3pm
APS presents a workshop for kids to learn about printmaking while creating a community print quilt that will be displayed at the Mechanicsville Branch Library. Sponsored by the Fulton County Art's Council's Public Art Program.

•February 10, 2007 - Relief Print Workshop
Saturday, Feb 10, 1-4pm
APS conducted a workshop for the community's youth, in conjunction with the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art exhibition, Hale Woodruff, Elizabeth Prophet and the Academy.

APS provided printmaking activities for children during "Made in the Shade", an art festival in historic Grant Park.

"Prints from the Flying Horse Press". Guided tour of the exhibit and also a tour of the gallery owners' private collection, which includes many prints.
