The studio provides capabilities for intaglio, monotype, woodcut, linocut, letterpress, screen print, papermaking, book arts and various mixed media techniques.

Studio Rental

Two levels of rental are available for artists to work in the studio: Key Holder and Limited Access. Details below.

All renters must submit written application with a deposit, have an interview, show work samples, and attend a studio orientation before working in the studio, so please allow sufficient time for this process before you plan to start.

Key Holders:
These renters work independently and have their own key to the studio. Key Holders must be APS members and commit to a 6 or 12 month agreement. (Working key holders receive a discount for serving as studio monitors and regularly maintaining the studio.)

Benefits: 24 hour access to the studio, plus personal storage space in the studio

12 Month Commitment:
$95/month
$75/month (working)

6 Month Commitment:
$100/month
$80/month (working)


Limited Access Renters:
These renters work independently during studio hours when a studio monitor is present.

6 Month Commitment:
$70/month
$60/month (APS members)

Basic Rental:
$80/month
$70/month (APS members)

$35/day
$30/day (APS members)

$10/hour

Limited Access Studio Hours:
Thursdays 10a-9p
Saturdays 10a-4p
Sundays 10a-4p
