Directed Study in Etching (6-week)

Dates: Wednesdays, October 15 - November 19th
Time: 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
This is a six week course designed to delve into your etching practice though a project (or multiple projects) with on hand guidance and demonstrations. You should have a baseline of etching experience to take this class. The structure for this class will be to plan out individual student projects and work toward their completion by the end of the six weeks.
Atlanta Printmakers Studio is a non-profit community printmaking studio located in the historic West End neighborhood just minutes from downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 2005 to promote the fine art of printmaking, the studio offers access to a well-equipped studio and diverse educational programs that foster the development of printmaking as a vibrant and progressive art form. Each year APS provides the community with a variety of experiences such as classes, workshops, residencies, internships and exhibitions. In addition to activities in the studio, APS offers a continuing calendar of outreach events to serve the local community. We welcome all artists and the general public to join us in creating, learning about, and collecting fine art prints.
