Join us on Thursday, March 19th for a FREE Family Friendly Lantern Making Workshop with Chantelle Rytter. These lanterns are for the Hapeville Butterfly Lantern Parade on March 21!
We will teach you how to make prints with linoleum on thin paper, then build a handheld lantern with your original designs! Participants will leave with their own one of a kind paper lantern.
All ages are welcome and encouraged to make a lantern - while supplies last!
Atlanta Printmakers Studio is a non-profit community printmaking studio located in the historic West End neighborhood just minutes from downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 2005 to promote the fine art of printmaking, the studio offers access to a well-equipped studio and diverse educational programs that foster the development of printmaking as a vibrant and progressive art form. Each year APS provides the community with a variety of experiences such as classes, workshops, residencies, internships and exhibitions. In addition to activities in the studio, APS offers a continuing calendar of outreach events to serve the local community. We welcome all artists and the general public to join us in creating, learning about, and collecting fine art prints.
